Akron Ohio’s kaleidoscope rock band Maid Myriad blends dynamically versatile songs, angsty progressive riffs, delicate pin drop moments, and intense start/stop dynamics. Maid Myriad formed in 2007 and quickly made a name for themselves in the local scene, receiving heavy regional airplay from their debut EP Embrace, being named Akron’s 2nd best local band in 2010 (behind The Black Keys), logging miles in the van, and opening for such national acts as Primus, Gogol Bordello, Maps & Atlases, and As Tall As Lions.
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Jeff “JCK” Klemm (ex VIA LOTUS) and drummer Greg Meisenberg (A FUCKING ELEPHANT) have recently wrapped up recording the band’s full length debut With Haste On Its Breath, to be released summer 2014 via Nefarious Industries. As a teaser to the forthcoming album, Maid Myriad have released the Camera Eye EP featuring three tracks mixed by producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple, Hoobastank, Live, Jack’s Mannequin) and available for download at this location.
Joined by bassist Mario Tonathy, Maid Myriad have toured heavily throughout 2013, with plans for a full US touring schedule in 2014 to promote With Haste On Its Breath. Updated Maid Myriad news and information is available via the band’s official Facebook page.
